Frequent Asked Questions
For those who are unfamiliar with immigration law, immigration can be a complex and highly confusing subject. There are specific laws which dictate which visas are available, the qualifications for obtaining those visas, and the process which must be followed to be granted a visa. Knowing which of the multiple visas available would best suit your needs, understanding the difference between an immigrant visa and anon-immigrant visa, and correctly filling out the application can mean the difference in your visa application being approved or denied.

We at Estrada Law Office are dedicated towards ensuring our clients are informed about the progress of their cases. While we understand that the immigration process can feel and be frustratingly long, we would like our clients to keep in mind that significant updates on a case can take time. To maximize our time and resources, our office will strive to keep you as informed as possible as to important updates, and to answer any questions you may have within a reasonable amount of time.
We welcome your questions and are eager to answer them. Please note that there are periods during the day where we are busy in consultations, appointments, phone calls, conducting research, preparing briefs, or where we are out of the office and in court representing clients. We kindly ask for your patience, as every attempt will be made to ensure your questions or concerns are addressed within a reasonable time frame.
We try to keep our legal fees reasonable; however, there are fees that may arise that are out of our control (i.e. application fees, biometric fees, requests for additional evidence, etc.) Legal fees are not set in stone, as much of the total cost for our legal services is highly dependent on the specific facts of each individual case. We are more than happy to discuss the specifics of your case’s legal fee via appointment.
While we are confident in our talented team’s ability to effectively represent your legal matters, we cannot guarantee 100% that the outcome of your case will be favorable. No honest attorney can guarantee that. At Estrada Law Office, we strive to reach the best outcome possible for our clients, and in doing so, we devote our time and resources to try and obtain a favorable result.
